woops I accidently deleted the content from this page so I'll get it re-done asap
In the mean time the following info will keep you busy

Ava & Nelson due January 7th, expecting blue & orange roans
Daisy & Nelson due January 23rd, blue roans only

This will be the main info page for both litters, which will include info about pregnancy, whelping and puppy development as it occurs. Each litter will also have it own separate page that will include anything specific to that litter, e.g. about mum & dad, weekly photos. I've also written some general info articles about toileting etc and have a few more to add over the coming weeks.

Ava and Daisy have both been mated to Nelson, a Scottish dog I imported frozen semen from during covid which created its own added costs and hassles. Using frozen semen is a costly process and its a little hit or miss as the time frame for semen viability is only a few hours. So we undertake numerous blood tests to get that timing just right.... then its up to mother nature who also dictates when our girls come on heat.

I've been waiting to use this semen over Ava & Daisy... So as soon as Ava came on heat we mated her. And of course its murphy's law that Daisy who only has heat cycle every 18mths came on heat 2 weeks later. Urgh timing isn't great, but mating both girls was the best option... fingers crossed we'll have puppies.
